This historic town is renowned for its ideal location at the foot of the Apuan Alps, less than 9 km from the Versilia beaches. The owner of Casa Lila fell in love with this idyllic location, and bought a ruin that she has now transformed into a holiday base for her family and friends. The restoration was designed by the owner's daughter - a renowned modern architect - who emphasized the light on the spaces rather than trying to keep the original traditional Tuscan style.

The property now consists of three different units, a main house and two guest houses, thus making Casa Lila ideal for those looking to holiday together yet enjoying their own privacy.

A particular feature of the main house is the huge open space including a sitting area with fireplace, a dining area and a large kitchen, all opening on to the garden and a covered veranda ideal for 'al fresco' dining. In front of the main house is the beautiful swimming pool (15 x 4 meters). Guests can also enjoy fresh vegetables and fruits from the vegetable garden and fruit trees kept by a gardener.
