Description:
Villa Flora is a huge farmhouse that has been recently totally restored to a very high standard. The discerning British owners, who have been tenant themselves at properties in Tuscany for years, have carefully taken into consideration their past experience and furnished the house with all the comforts they were expecting and rarely found in a rental property.

The result is a property restored in total respect of the Tuscan tradition with beamed ceilings, antique cotto floor and washed colours-decor yet at the same time equipped with all modern amenities. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and have en-suite bathroom. The kitchen is an impressive combination of high tech with Bulthaup appliances and traditional Aga cooker. Despite being very close to Lucca - the town centre is only 8 kms away - it is located in a very quiet setting , inside the "Nottolini park".

The area takes its name from the famous architect who built the neoclassical monumental aqueduct that runs along the boundary of the estate and is popular with those who love walking and jogging in a quiet and historical surrounding.

A particular feature of Villa Flora is the unusually large - 20 x 5 meters- infinity swimming pool plastered in grey with blue reflexes, totally fenced for children's safety. The photos were taken in summer 2007 before the landscaping was completed and do not do any justice to the beauty of the garden and pool area. It is not allowed to smoke in the villa.

Lay-out:
Ground floor: Entrance, living room with fireplace and grand piano, dining room, kitchen. All the above rooms opening onto the garden through French doors. Laundry room, guest bathroom.
First floor: Master bedroom with four poster bed, en-suite bathroom (bath and separate shower) and dressing room, twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom, double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (bath and separate shower).
Second floor: Master bedroom with bathroom (bath and separate shower), twin bedroom with bathroom (bath and separate shower), master suite composed of bedroom, study and en-suite bathroom.

Included in the rental price:
Maid service is included 15 hours per week.

Particulars:

Minimum rental period 7 nights. The rental period always is from Saturday till Saturday. During the low-season, other periods may be possible

Included in the rental price: the usage of bed-, kitchen- and table linens on a basis of a weekly change, final cleaning and where applicable maid service

Not included in the rental price: local taxes and costs for heating. Payment directly on the spot

You are expected to provide your own bath-/beach linens

The swimming pool (20 X 5 m) is opened from 26/5 -29/9. Outside this period, please enquire upon booking if the pool can be opened

Upon arrival, a deposit of € 1.500,00 is required. In case the accommodation disposes of a telephone with an outgoing line, an extra deposit of € 250,00 is also required. Both amounts to be paid in cash

Check-in on the day of arrival between 16.00-19.00 hrs. Check out on the day of departure before 10.00 hrs.

Many villa’s are situated in rural surroundings, sometimes only to be reached via a so-called "strada bianca", an unpaved road. Please enquire prior to booking if the accommodation of your choice can be reached with your own (or your rental) car

Extra maid service is possible; please state so upon booking. Payment directly on the spot

In most cases, pets are not allowed so in case your booking depends on whether or not you can take a pet along, please enquire beforehand. If permission is granted, an extra deposit will be applicable
