Description:
From the hills of Querceto, your sight is kept on the splendid slopes of the Pesa valley, where the symmetrically built vineyards alternate with the silvery shine of the olive trees. In these unique surroundings you find the Fattoria Querceto, not far from the road leading from Romita to Montespertoli. The buildings are of natural stone, restored in a way which makes clear that they belong to each other and thus creating a picturesque whole, typical for Tuscan farmhouses.
Querceto is subdivided into 7 apartments, all the same sizes, furnished in rural Tuscan style and provided with all modern comforts with a space outside with garden furniture. The guests have a tennis court, “jeu-de-boules” alley, swimming pool, barbecue and a washing machine for common use at their disposal. There are mountain bikes for hire. On request TV-sets available. Independent central heating.
Querceto is situated in the middle of an area rich in villages and towns of historical and artistic interest, so there are many possibilities for daytrips. Florence, for instance, is only 30 km. away, and Siena about 40 km. There is a bus-stop close by, with good connections to the surrounding villages and towns where you can, of course, also shop and dine well! Try a visit to a weekly market, enjoy the colourful daily life and hunt for bargains. The sea can be reached by car within about one hours drive.
Upon arrival, you are welcomed with some bottles of wine made on the premises. Two days later, on Monday, you are invited for a welcome buffet (free of charge).
Possibilities for sport/excursions:
Tennis court on the premises and riding at about 6 km. distance. Weekly market on Thursdays in Tavarnelle, on Saturdays in Barberino Val d’Elsa and on Mondays in San Casciano. In Arezzo there is the world famous antique market, every first Sunday of the month.

Close by the village Romita with small supermarket, open all week (including Sundays), post-office, banks and more shops in Tavarnelle, at about 4 km. away, San Gimignano 24 km, Florence 30 km, Siena 40 km, Arezzo 95 km.

Two rooms-apartment (45 m2, 2 + 2 pers.):
Living/dining room with kitchen area (fridge, 4 hobs) and a double sofa bed, double bedroom, bathroom with basin, toilet, bidet and shower.
There are apartments on the ground floor and on the first floor.

Included in the price: Use of water, electricity, heating and linens (on a basis of a weekly change, bath linens twice a week), use of swimming pool and jeu-de-boule track, final cleaning, cradle
Upon arrival, a deposit of € 100,00 must be paid
Check-in on the day of arrival between 15.00-19.00 hrs. Check-out on the day of departure before 10.00 hrs.
Not included in the price: A children’s cot is included. A bed for a child (= extra bed) costs € 52,00 per week, mountain bikes € 8,00 for half a day, wood for the barbeque € 6,00 per basket, rental of tennis racket € 6,00 per hour, television € 8,00 per day, use of washing machine € 8,00 per time, use of telephone.
The swimming pool (6 x 12 m) is opened from 15th May till 30th September, depending on the weather.
