Imagine: You want to go on a shopping-spree in Florence, you finally want to devote time to see and absorb all the beauties in the Uffizi Museum, you have business meetings but want to be accompanied by your family or at least one of them. All these ifs and buts; maybe you are better served with a kind of luxurious privacy no hotel in Florence can offer.

In cases like this, an apartment owned by the Ferragamo family and, much more important, furnished up to the tiniest details by Mrs. Ferragamo, therefore satisfying even the most spoilt tastes, would be the best solution.

The palazzo Medici, located in the historical city centre, is a typical example of Florentine 16th century architecture; the restructuring project has masterfully blended modern elements, such as the triangular glass elevator, with the old ones like the columns in "pietra serena", beamed and coffered ceilings and wonderful frescoes.

There are eight apartments in the building, which is located in Oltrarno, in the neighbourhood of the church of S. Spirito, one of the oldest and most well-known in Florence, only a few metres from the Arno River and the Ponte Vecchio. One of these apartments is the Boccaccio Residence.

Layout:
Boccaccio Residence (2 + 2 people, 70 m2) is located on the 2nd floor and has only 2 rooms but is very comfortable and practical. The apartment has a spacious living room with 2 large windows and a sofabed, a dining area and a separate kitchen. Behind a large bookcase is the master bedroom with small study area,a bathroom with shower and laundry area. Separate well-equipped kitchen. The entire apartment has "cotto" floors, coffered ceilings and frescoes on the walls.

Facilities:
Elevator, armoured door, independent heating, satellite TV, telephone, Internetconnection (ADSL), buzzer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, iron and ironing board, oven, gas range, fridge/freezer, microwave, American-style coffee machine, fully equipped kitchen (for 6 people).

Particulars:
Minimal rental period 3 nights

Included in the price: water, gas, electricity, heating, final cleaning and usage of linen (extra sets available), weekly maid service (1 hour and a half)

Not included and to pay on the spot: telephone costs

Deposit: € 600,00 to pay in cash or with credit card

Check-in on the day of arrival between 15.30 – 19.00 hrs. Check-out on the day of departure before 9.30 hrs.
