PONTORMO RESIDENCE

Imagine: You want to go on a shopping-spree in Florence, you finally want to devote time to see and absorb all the beauties in the Uffizi Museum, you have business meetings but want to be accompanied by your family or at least one of them. All these ifs and buts; maybe you are better served with a kind of luxurious privacy no hotel in Florence can offer.

In cases like this, an apartment owned by the Ferragamo family and, much more important, furnished up to the tiniest details by Mrs. Ferragamo, therefore satisfying even the most spoilt tastes, would be the best solution.

The palazzo Medici, located in the historical city centre, is a typical example of Florentine 16th century architecture; the restructuring project has masterfully blended modern elements, such as the triangular glass elevator, with the old ones like the columns in "pietra serena", beamed and coffered ceilings and wonderful frescoes.

There are eight apartments in the building, which is located in the neighbourhood of S. Spirito, one of the oldest and most well-known in Florence, only 100 metres from the Arno River and the Ponte Vecchio. One of these apartments is the Pontormo Residence.

Lay-out:
Apartment Pontormo Residence (4 + 1 pers., 105 m2) is located on the 2nd floor. This apartment has a very big living room with fireplace and coffered ceiling, a kitchen corner with a window, well-hidden behind a decorated wooden screen, a dining area, a master bedwoom with wardrobe in loft and a small bathroom for guests (without shower) en suite, a double bedroom with the possibility of an additional 80 cm. sofabed, with wardrobe in loft and a bathroom with shower. The living room and kitchen are in "cotto" style and the bedrooms have nice wooden floors.

Facilities:
Elevator, armoured door, satellite TV, DVD player, independent heating, air conditioning, telephone, ADSL Internet connection, buzzer, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, gas range, American coffe maker, fridge/freezer, hair dryer, iron and ironing board.

Deposit: € 600,00 to pay in cash or with credit card

Check-in on the day of arrival between 15.30 – 19.00 hrs. Check-out on the day of departure before 9.30 hrs.
